What is PadelLabs?

A connected padel coach. Your Apple Watch names every stroke while you play, and your iPhone turns each session into metrics, trends and daily readiness so you know what to work on.

What do I need to use it?

An Apple Watch to record and classify strokes during play, and an iPhone to see your analytics afterwards. The richest signals (energy, recovery, exertion, sleep) are sharpest when you also wear the watch day and night.

How does stroke recognition work?

A model on the watch reads your wrist motion at 100 Hz and classifies nine padel strokes as you play — entirely on-device, with no need to film yourself.

Which wrist should I wear the watch on?

Wear it on your racket hand and start the session for the most accurate stroke and swing-speed data, plus heart rate, calories, distance and route from the first point.

Where is my data stored?

Local-first: your sessions live on your device and the app works without an account. Cloud sync and backup are optional and only used if you sign in or upgrade. We never sell your data.

Do I need an Apple Watch for everything?

No, but it helps. Without one, PadelLabs estimates energy, recovery and exertion from your logged sessions — and clearly marks those values as estimated.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Recording and on-device analysis work offline. A connection is only needed for optional cloud sync and updates.

How accurate is it?

Stroke recognition and swing speed are model estimates and can be wrong; treat them as a training aid, not an exact record. Accuracy keeps improving as the model is retrained.

Is it free?

PadelLabs is in early access. Core recording and analysis are available now; some advanced analytics may become a paid subscription billed through your App Store account. Pricing will be shown before you buy.

How do I get early access?

Request it from the home page with your email and preferred language. We store only that to contact you once about availability, and you can ask us to delete it any time.

How do I delete my data?

Remove the app to clear on-device data, revoke Health access in the Health app, and email hello@padellabs.app to erase anything held in the cloud or on the waitlist.
